"In my life, I am very proud person who likes doing amazing things for myself. So I work in the doable op shop Monday to Friday. I go in person, and we have a good time talking, have fun, create new friends and find new stuff to get along with. It makes people have a smile to their faces and makes me feel included – which is important to me. With doable I get to choose the life I want and show people what I’m made of."

"I get so much appreciation from the participants I support, in whatever way they can communicate to me, either through gestures or verbally. When we’re engaging in the activities, I know the little extra things I do on a regular basis are actually recognised and deeply valued. People may say that, ‘Oh, it's a hard job to do, right?’ And I would say, ‘Yes, it is.’ But I'm having fun, and I’m getting rewarded in so many ways. So why would I want to do anything else?"
